BON SECOURS Warwick health Foundation
Touching more than 20 communities, the work of Bon Secours Warwick Health Foundation helps to fulfill the mission of Bon Secours to give compassion and healing to those in need.
Just a few of the many ways the Foundation supports St. Anthony Community Hospital and the Warwick Healthcare Campus include raising funds to help us to continue to advance healthcare in the tri-state region and for new technology and equipment, staff training and education, community wellness programs and Improvements to the facilities.
St. Anthony Community Hospital has received just over one-half million dollars from Bon Secours Warwick Health Foundation to invest in the purchase of new surgical equipment and equipment upgrades. These improvements will enable St. Anthony to continue to provide the highest quality health services available to everyone in our community and they will feature state-of-the-art technology including:
- Endo HD Equipment: These are flexible scopes for colonoscopies and cancer screenings. HD stands for Hi-Definition. This equipment provides better accuracy in seeing imperfections and is a much more precise diagnostic tool.
- Vascular C-arm: this will improve vascular diagnostic testing by providing the ability to identify more peripheral vascular disease.
- OR Lights: These have been upgraded in all three major Operating Rooms. They provide a better visual field and will have a positive impact on the 5,000 procedures done in these rooms annually.
- Yellowfin Styrrups: These are a new design for urology cases. They are more comfortable and create less hip pain for patients after surgery.
The Foundation engages the generosity of patients, families, employees and community members to elevate health care in our communities. Financial gifts provide local, community-based coordination of clinical expertise, volunteers, philanthropy, community education, research and advocacy to provide Good Help to Those in Need.(R)
